We loved staying at the Apple Tree Apartment, it was a delightful oasis in the midst of town. Thank you so much Ian and Marjorie for sharing your beautiful place with us. It was just what we needed after Bruce's stint at the hospital.
We would definitely stay again when in this part of Wellington.

The property is well appointed and in a beautiful garden setting. It is only a few minutes walk to the number 3 bus, so very handy for travelling to the city. The hosts were lovely - very friendly and welcoming, but also respectful of our privacy. We will definitely stay again!

Very kind and friendly hosts who gave us welcome treats, and shared their magnificent garden with us. The spotless apartment has everything you might need.It is spacious with one highlight being the sun room opening onto the garden. The location is quiet, off street parking is provided and easy access to the nearby shopping area. For keen walkers there are trails very close by that take you through forest with great views of the city. If you don’t want to drive into the city a convenient bus is close by.
Highly recommended and one of the nicest places we have stayed. Thank you Marjorie and Ian.

Friendly and helpful owners. peaceful and quiet place and handy to airport, supermarkets, city center and mt Victoria if you have a vehicle or a keen walker.

We had a wonderful stay in Ian and Marjorie's apartment and thought it was a great value for the rate charged. The garden setting is delightful, the hosts very friendly and welcoming and the location central and interesting. Would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend to others. Good walking area.

Ian the owner/upstairs resident was very friendly & accomodating. His wife, Majorie, even provided some fresh scones-much appreciated. Location & layout suited us (middle aged couple) plus visiting adult daughter for a night along with son/DIL for dinner. We hope to return.

Apple Tree Apartment. Absolutely loved it. Liked the New Zealand green life outside and Pacific touch of the home with the Fijian Masi. Marjorie and Ian were so welcoming and pleasant during our stay. I loved the location. I really felt that I had paid way to little for what I got was worth much more. Beautiful home.

It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Apple Tree Apartment. We were extremely impressed with the facilities and how clean and new the apartment was. The kitchenette was a great bonus, as was the Sky TV and wireless internet. Everything was extremely comfortable and clean. The owners were fantastic - very lovely people who made us feel right at home and were eager to make sure we enjoyed our stay. We could not have asked for nicer hosts! The location is not far from buses which take 10mins to travel to the city. We loved it so much that we decided to stay for another night. I'd highly recommend this place to stay - such a better option than a small hotel room downtown, and great value for money.

This is a very nice flat with a lovely sun room. Ian was very nice and very helpful, even inviting me to watch one of the rugby games with his family. I'd definitely recommend Apple Tree apartment.

Apartment for all seasons.
We like spring best - all 4 apple trees in bud or bloom, daffodils below. Summer - snooze in the shade; foxgloves caught by the breeze.
Autumn/fall - usually warm and calm; mellow fruitfulness.
Winter - sprawl in the conservatory and admire the tecomanthus in bloom.

Friends and family and outings.
We did the apartment up so friends and family could stay. Noise isn't a problem; sleep all day if you want. Or take 10 minute stroll to Newtown village shops. Excellent, exotic little cafes and restaurants there. Good (15 mins ride) bus service into Wellington for theatre, dance,cinema, sport, museums, treks.
