our lounge-dining area is a spacious, 6 X 6 meter area that overlooks an 180 degree view of the town, the Remarkable mountain range, and Lake Wakatipu. The sun pours thru the east facing windows in the early morning. At night the town clistens, the lake shines, and the gas fireplace warms the living area and 8-seat elegant dining table. Leave the sky-tv off and enjoy your family and guests.

From town, the house is 4 minutes by car, 30 minutes walking thru the woods, or 6 minutes by the local shopping bus that comes hourly to a hotel located up the hill behind the house. Go to town to the tens of restaurants and bars, head for Coronet Peak ski fields, 20 minutes, or the Remarkable Ski fields, or in summer, swim in the lake minutes walk, or walk out the back onto the endless mountain trails leading to the summit of Ben Lomond and the Moonlight Track.

This is a two bedroom apartment, (each with double bed) just off the garage on ground floor, with fantastic view of the lake and mountains, its own bathroom, small kitchen area with convection oven, microwave, telephone, and separate entrance.

The Deck
This 36sq meter deck with 2400 degree unobstructed views over the lake and mountain, faces east, south and north, arguably the best view in view-rich Queenstown. Is there a more dramatic, beautiful sight anywhere? We are still looking.

The back patio
The west, backyard of the house, with a spa pool, a huge gas powered bbq, lounge chairs and, in summer, late evening sun, is a quiet retreat from the quiet rooms on the main, central, floor of the house.

The office
We have left for our guests a desk top computer tied to broadband and providing throughout the house wireless access to the Web. This comes with a printer. We only ask that you not write and print the world's longest novel. Pleasant reviews are always appreciated.
