Concept
Our four privately-owned, island-inspired Ungasan Beach Villas are classy, elegant, and very comfortable, and are located within the premises of the Karma Kandara resort, a cluster of private residences and hotel style villas offering all the top class amenities and services one would expect from a five star property.
Set high on the cliff tops of Bali's southernmost Bukit peninsula, where breathtaking vistas and secluded access to some of the island's best white sand beaches at their base are on offer every day, the estate is characterised by limestone walls, jungle valleys and lush tropical gardens with all the villas and facilities being linked by bridges and pathways that follow the natural contours of the land.
Our villa guests enjoy complimentary access to resort's own Karma Beach Club, the state-of the-art gymnasium, the cliff side infinity-edge swimming pool and the Three Monkeys kids club. Guests can also enjoy the extensive menu of spa rituals in the award-winning Chakra Spa, and enjoy international culinary experiences while sitting in the di Mare restaurant whilst admiring one of the most dramatic ocean views in the world; a view from where some lucky guests have seen whales cruising past.
Perhaps the greatest asset of the resort is the Karma Beach Club, which sits 90 metres down the cliff and accessed by private funicular and presides over a pristine sweep of white sand that meets a turquoise-water coral lagoon. Daybeds and private gazebos line the sand from where guests can snorkel, swim or canoe in the lagoon's blue waters, while a large bamboo-and-thatch structure houses the beach restaurant with its dedicated kitchen, complete with wood-fired pizza oven, and a full bar stocked with a fine selections of wines, beer, spirits and champagne.

Accommodation & Facilities
The four-bedroom Villa Indah Ungasan sits directly alongside a tree-covered riverbed that brings plenty of shade and greenery to its already well-positioned resort environment. Guests enter into a large open-plan living & dining room with a fully-equipped modern kitchen located on the ground floor, along with two bedrooms.
Comfortably furnished with a dining table and large sofas, the living area offers an entertainment system that includes TV with international channels and DVD player. French doors line its two walls and open to a wraparound timber deck with outdoor furniture and sun loungers and out into the garden with its private 6 x 4m overflow pool and cushioned bale gazebo.
One king-size bedroom is accessible from the living room and has its own access to the swimming pool. This room has a luxurious en-suite marble bathroom divided with indoor shower in addition to an outdoor tropical style shower and terrazzo bathtub which is open to the skies and surrounded by water-lily ponds.
A set of sliding doors separate the twin room from the lounge and a guest bathroom with shower sits off the living area. A staircase leads up and down from the living room here to the two master bedrooms upstairs and downstairs.
The upstairs master bedroom has a walk-in closet, a balcony with views of the tree tops, TV with DVD and international channels and en-suite bathroom with a bathtub. The downstairs suite has French doors that lead directly out to a wooden deck shaded by trees. Here sits an outdoor Jacuzzi bath and stairs that lead up to the pool deck.

Nearby Uluwatu, with its ancient Hindu temple, it's world-class surf breaks and unforgettable sunsets is located nearby, as well as the GWK cultural park, are where guests can experience local history and culture and see the best traditional Kecak dance performances in Bali.
Twenty minutes away by car is Jimbaran Beach, home to the famous beachside restaurants that cook the freshest seafood every night over coconut husks, where guests can get sand between their toes while that get serenaded by local musicians and watch the sun set into the sea by candle light.
Nearby are a host of luxury resorts including Banyan Tree, Bvlgari, Four Seasons, and Ayana with their world-class spa facilities (including the largest Thalasso spa in the world in Ayana) and exquisite restaurants.
Many more five-star resorts, boutique shopping, golf courses and white sand beaches can be found in the Nusa Dua resort area and Pecatu, which are both only a 20-minute drive away.
