only complaint would be the expectation of having to clean up the townhouse and leave it as we found it as no one really wants to do housework upon leaving however this is minor we really enjoyed our stay and certainly shall recommend your service in the future to friends and family

There is some kind of leak in the downstairs bathroom.
More glassware would have suited us and also wooden chopping boards as opposed to plastic and a couple of good, sharp knives.

Thank you for highlighting leak in downstairs bathroom - was not aware - having looked at it - it may be a faulty washer on one of the taps.
There is a wide range of glassware provided in cupboards above the bench as well as the pantry - possibly some may have been left in the dishwasher!
I will review and adress your comments re knives.

Property would benefit room having internet access. If it was available it wasn't obvious.Sky TV seemed to be available but wasn't able to find on TV. If available some instructions would be halpful as there were 6 different remotes. Otherwise was clean, tidy, and close to motorway access and shops/city.

Property has Internet and just needed to be plugged and and switched on at the wall.
Instructions for Sky TV are in the booklet on the coffee table along with the remotes..

Living Area
Open Plan lounge living area on the second level consisting of dining and lounge areas opening onto large deck with gas and electricity outlets so ideal for BBQs and entertaining. The deck overlooks the pool through lush tropical palms and greenery and it beautifully lit at nights. This adds to the tranquil feel and provides a sense of privacy from the living areas. Additional windows capturing morning sun gives it a light an airy feel and the north facing deck captures all day sun. There is a new awning whch can be wound out to provide protection from sun/weather.

Bedrooms
On the top level are the main and guest bedooms - both generous sized with a Queen bed and 2 twin beds with dorma style ceilings and windows overlooking the gardens and pool and towards the city. There are mirror double sliding doors wardrobes in both rooms with full wardrobe systems.
The 3rd bedroom is on the ground level and has been set up as a bedsit with its own TV and ensuite batchroom. There is a door opening out onto a private courtyard garden, with filtered sun through the lush tropical palms and greenery.

Bathrooms & Laundry
The main bathroom is accessed from the main bedroom as well as the hallway and has a separate shower as well as a full size bath, and has plenty of shelving and cupboards either side of the mirror. There is a linen cupboard in the hall.
The ensuite of the 3rd bedroom, downstairs, has a separate shower, handbasin and toilet.
The laundry is at the back of the internal garage and has a washing maching and dryer as well as an underbench fridge.

Kitchen
The kitchen has grey bench topes witha servery bar and bar stools, and light coloured wooden cupboards and pantry doors. It has all modern applicances, including dishwasher, gas hobs, electric oven, expelair, microwave and a fridge freezer

Additional features
Summerfield Villas is a resort style complex with security gates, on site manager, and set amongst cultivated gardens, with a full size swimming pool and gym for use of residents.
The complex is close to both Ponsonby and Grey Lynn Award winning cafes and bars such as Delicious, Savour and Devour, Gypsy Tea Rooms and Malt. Easy motorway access to Motorway and North Shore on ramp and Viaduct Harbour. Also close to the Zoo and Technology Museum and other major tourist attractions. There is a bus stop opposite which go into the city every 12 minutes - $1.60 fare or $12 by taxi.
There are hair, health & beauty shops in the complex as well.

Tourist Attractions
Out of town or Overseas visitors will find Grey Lynn is an ideallocation with its easy motorway access, close proximity to the CBD, harbour and beaches, and major tourist attractions.
It is centrally located for 2-3 hour trips to major NZ tourist attractions such as Rotorua, Taupo, Waitomo Caves, Bay of Islands and the Coromandel Peninsula. It is a 3.5 hour trip to Taupo, The Chateau National Park if you enjoy fly fishing, tramping, skiing and stunning scenery or an 8 hour drive to Wellington, the capital city to catch the ferry and continue your travels around the South Island.
